From the League of Legends Wiki : "The icon used for Frozen Heart item 3110 is the same icon from the popular online MMO game, World of Warcraft, used to represent a 'Citrine' gem. In this game, the gem appears orange." I would say this is cooler than it just being a frozen heart!
