why do we lose lp if someone afks on our team in a ranked game???

This is so dumb Riot, why do we lose LP if someone goes afk in a ranked game, I understand that things happen (power goes out, wifi shuts off, or something terrible happens), but why does everyone else get punished for that, that's so stupid if you just made it to where the team with the afk does not lose lp if they lose and made it to where afk penalties were a lot worse such as banning or maybe perma banning after the first offense rather than giving them multiple chances. If this was how it works the ranked system would be so much better, please make this happen riot or find some other way to fix this problem, because right now we are being punished for losing when we have an afk on our team, we are being punished because someone else messes up our game and inhibits our chances.
