I have a positive win ratio yet i have managed to get demoted from bronze 3 to 4. AM i just that bad that even if im winning i get less lp for winning than i get for losing?

if you just keep it up you will get out of bronze its not how good you are right now its how many games you play in order to get better if you only play with the mind of i am better than these guys and should not be here you wont get out but get tilted and drop you keep at it you will get out.

but how is it possible to have a positive win ratio but get demoted. that means i lose more points after a loss than I gain from a win. how does that make since?

Positive winrate does not account for your mmr. And you get less mmr when you win then lose because your mmr isn't high enough for that League so the system is trying to make it harder for you to climb. Keep winning games and you will gradually see an increase of mmr.

Your MMR is lower than the average of your current division, so the system believes that you should be lower than you currently are.

If you keep winning more than you lose, it will gradual rise until you earn more LP than you lose for each game.

im coming up on 90 games played. so i guess this means i am literally the worst of the worst thats depressing

It k i suffered my ass off in bronze 1 Bronze 1- 99 lp Won 4 more games, got 0 lp from each Tilted to Bronze 3 Then Silver happened
