Comcrap Internet and LoL

So I live in a house where the landlord has 25 megs down for internet in the main house (I live in the guest house). The landlord and his wife are almost always watching Netflix and one other roommate who lives in the main house plays league as well. I'm probably 150 feet away from the router and I have an extender in my house thats connected to the internet. I'm hard lined into the extender so when I look it says that I'm on the main connection. My problem is that my ping makes the games almost unplayable as it frequently goes above 5k. The extender itself is a cheap one that my landlord bought because he didn't want to spend money, will getting a better extender solve my issue or do they need to upgrade the internet?

It's the extender. I had the same problem with my Ethernet over Powerline devices, and I determined that the packet frequency (because applications like League of Legends and Discord/Skype generate smaller, more rapidly sent packets) was causing issues with my Powerline devices. I just bought a Wi-Fi Adapter so I just use that now so I don't disconnect from my games.

I'd honestly just say have them get better internet. I have Charter and I'm able to watch netflix, and have my boyfriend and I both play league with no lag what so ever. It's worth it in the end

The problem is the setup not the internet provider. You couldn't pay me to network game on that setup. you will be dropping packets left and right.
