Unaddressed Summoner Name Clean Up Problem

I recently attempted to get the name "Zelda" which due to inactivity became available on the 19th of July. My question is whether or not Riot is aware of the issue of bots/scripts being used to obtain highly sought after names. In this case a lvl1 account with no games played has obtained this summoner name. As you are aware, inactive names cannot be claimed by new accounts which means this account was solely created to obtain this name. I would rather this name not sit for another 6 months...or be sold off, but I do not know if Riot shares this sentiment. thanks

So the person who now has the account first made an account with some random name and then used RP to buy the new name Zelda. Seems like Riot would be for that since it makes them more money.

https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=Zelda still has zero games/masteries/runes

I wonder if you could ask to buy the account from him, assuming that is what they want anyway. Doesn't look like they're interested in playing.

You were probably just too slow. Anyone could have made an account and got that name, it doesn't mean it was a bot. A bot can't pick and choose names by somehow knowing which ones are sought after. At some point, another person saw that name and wanted it.
