Bring back Teambuilder for levels under 25.

I have no idea why they changed it was a great thing for people at low level that don't own a lot of champions. Not to mention a great way to practice for ranked que.

Low level grinding is especially awful without team builder since that essentially means the only thing available to most new players is blind pick. Blind pick is toxicity starting right from the lobby.

Want to make the game better for new players? Have something other than blind pick available before level 25.

I agree because I was getting great practice through that mode. Personally I got real mad when it happened.

I think we would all like to know the reasoning behind the change to the level restriction in the first place. It was just sort of glossed over in the patch notes.

Wasn't it removed because the queue times were 100% abysmal?

Ya, i'd at least would want an explanation, speaking of which

Do we have any idea why revive isn't a thing anymore?

I think I read a post from a rioter saying something along the lines of "the majority of players under level 25 do not want long que times, and the average que time in team builder under level 30 is so long we don't want to allow anyone to play it".

Read that back when I was allowed to play team builder (a huge incentive for me to play this game, as all I had played in dota was all pick, which is basically just like blind pick and I hated that shit) and then they just took it away, so I had to grind to level 25 from 19 just to play my preferred game mode.

Now I always wait in 10-20 minute ques in teambuilder for things like AP ezreal mid, jungle twisted fate, marksman twisted fate, cheese duo lanes with my friends etc. and it's fine, because I always end up getting some enjoyment out of the game. Nothing like those countless times in blind pick where someone auto locks and we end up with 3 mid laners who didn't call their role, or dodgers who waste our time completely. These kinds of things don't exist in TB, and I'm sure new players wouldn't enjoy those assholes either.

I wholeheartedly approve of this. I'd much rather wait 10-20min for a great match than a blind pick f fest.

I think it was to take the pressure off someone needing to start a Teambuilder for it to work and forcing new players to "just know" how to build an effective team. Do I think they should lower the cut-off? Definitely. I'd say 10-15, since players should be leaving Bot games by then and at least have a clue about team comps.

I've been smurfing with a new friend who's learning to play the game and am frankly appalled that Team Builder still isn't available to her, 20 levels after she started playing. As far as I recall, Lyte wanted Team Builder to be the ONLY queue available for newbies so they can practice without worrying about the meta or role-calling - evidently that never happened.

Regardless, bringing back Team Builder as an option for new players is a better idea than leaving it disabled until level 25.
