Loading Screen should have a chat.
On the top left with your team to discuss everything and on the top right with your friends in case you get any messages.

I think one problem with that would be people would start flaming about anyone loading slowly. Removing everyone else's pings was a good move, but people still be salty as hell about "toasters" and "Potato" comps
