Does dodging count as a loss in placements?

I got paired with 2 trolls a few minutes ago in a lobby:one of them went first time Sivir,as he said, and he also mentioned it's the first time he plays this game,that it's his brother's account,and the second decided to troll because he didn't get the role he wanted.

So,will dodging count as a loss in my games?

yes, also a lot of people that say this is their first time playing are just messing with you, the same way most people that say they are smurfs and end up feeding the whole game.
