Poll: Who would like division markers?

Riot, It was pretty clear when the division borders were announced (meaning for example, gold 1 and gold 5 would look different in the loading screen), that many people did not want them. As a gold 5 myself, I am completely satisfied having crossed the milestone past silver. Now however, if they separate our divisions, I'm wondering if I would rather be Silver 1 to take the pressure off of myself. The reporting system has come a long way and I see much less toxic individuals, but I can definitely foresee gold 1-4 harassing a gold 5 for "not being a real gold" or "getting carried to gold 5 just for the border". It also is added clutter in the loading border in my opinion... think about everything we have now. Summoner icons, borders, ribbons, skins, skin borders (for example, the project skins or having a really old legacy skin). I don't feel its necessary to point out our differences even more. I think instead, we should be focusing our similarities with our teammates to encourage cooperation instead of prejudice. Make your opinion heard summoners!

If they were announced early in the season, I'd be fine with them. The fact Riot only told us these borders would be in play in the last month of the season feels a bit disrespectful, especially since there has been a non-insignificant pushback against it that Riot hasn't seemed to take into account.

I apologize if I offend the employee(s) who came up with and designed the idea. I think it would be better off as a summoner icon that we have the option of turning off, or perhaps done next year as players this year were not given very much notice.

I like it. There is a massive difference between someone of division 5 and division 1. The people you are worried about negatively using that information are already looking up profiles anyway.

Insightful. I agree there is a massive difference between a division 5 and 1, however even a division 1 will have a bad game, which I've been accused of being carried, and a division 5 can have an insanely great game, which I've been accused of smurfing or hacking. My opinion is that it's just unnecessary fuel to make assumptions of your teammates. "GG theres four G5's on my team" etc. People really do start out games pessimistically for no reason as I'm sure you know.

No thanks, I also think you should be able to turn off your borders in general. Division 5 says to me, "not good enough" and division 1 says, "lucky". Easy harassment fuel.

Anyone know if it will show a border for bronze divisions? I don't play soloq so im unranked this season, but I made a ranked team with some friends where we just fuck around and we got placed in bronze 4 lol. Would rather have no border than a bronze 4 border.
