So I have almost 50k ip accrued over my LoL career and I have nothing to use it on and it all feels worthless now. I was wondering if in the future if maybe there would be some sort of feature that would allow us to gift friends champions using IP in stead of RP. If not maybe at least bring back the wards that you could buy for a week with said amount of ip.
If they do that they really really need to put something in the game to stop bots or like the guy above me said their will be farmers but they won't be real people like in WoW. They will only be bots and they will sell champions for cheaper then rp on websites. It will destroy the experience of low level games and they won't go on aram,dominon like they do now because they get less ip. Not a single person will be hired to farm ip if it happens because the bots will be literately(The real use of literately) 1 billion times more cost efficient because they are practically free.
I have seen another post about this long ago, one of the replies was this will cause thousands of Chinese IP farmers to emerge. Not meant to be racist in anyway, I am Chinese also and I know China is know to have farmers in MMORPG.

to give someone IP is to give someone else your time.
LoL is a F2P game
F2P games reward you for your time.
To give your reward to someone who hasn't earned it is outside the design of a F2P.
Maybe have the price of gifting with IP doubled? Say you were gifting a friend a 6300 IP champ, the price would be 12600 IP. Just a suggestion :P

This can never happen. If you think there are bots in games now allowing IP gifting of champions would increase the bot usage by insane amounts.

Well, once you have everything, the IP is useless minus the new champs that come out every 2-3 months.
Rito has this problem of IP inflation OP.
I think they would have implemented it already if it was profitable.
