Today i quit league of legends (Here's why)

This game is 50% made up of scripters, cheaters, drophackers, botters, and the like. It's not fun anymore. A few of my friends quit for similar reasons a few months ago. I'm going to join them on Diablo III. At least battle.net cares enough to IP/Range Ban people. RIOT just bans 1 account (Probably a botted account with nothing by ARAM played, I.E. Easy to determine it's a bot) and that scripter/hacker whatever jumps on another botted account.

This game is basically dead. Not investing my time to climb to plat-diamond every season and get met with a million kids dodging every skill shot at point blank range, or using an automatic orbwalker (thus avoiding learning howto actually orbwalk which some players spend months perfecting)

It's not fair, and it's obvious that you guys aren't able to do anything to stop it. I'm moving on. I hope one day you can figure this out and put an end to it, because I love this game and the community, and the impact it's had on esports... But i'm not holding my breath. I'm not saying that rioters aren't trying to fix this, but i don't think they have the manpower or ability to stop it at this point. I think this game had a good run, and now its infected and on its deathbed.

...did you really convince yourself that was true?

The vast majority of the time someone is accused of cheating, they are simply way better than the accuser.

I know for a fact it's true. Google league of legends scripts, there are about 5 services i can name off-hand. and if you look at their members (Userbase) and add them all up its almost 300,000 people. And those are just users registered on their forums. Did a little digging, and on the threads where they are complaining about being recently banned they are giving away free botted/ "Cracked" accounts to members that "GOT HIT WITH THE RECENT BAN WAVE" and some of their developers put something out called a "HUMANIZER" to avoid future detection.

My point is please do your research before you make a statement like that.

First of all, humanizers have been around for a long time, and it doesn't help you avoid a ban.

Secondly , if you really think 50% of people are a scripters you are an idiot. Millions of people don't play rank and play only to mess around in normals. And the ones who do play rank 70% of them are below Gols 5, because they aren't good enough and don't script. Good that your leaving the game. I just made it to gold 5 through months of hard work. And didn't encounter one scripter

Also this game isn't on its death bed, it's more popular than it's ever been. And this year, the Japanese server is coming out, which means millions of new players.

except 300,000 is like maybe 2% of the entire player base of league at most. and if 50% of the player base were any of those i would've encounter more then one on summoners rift by now which i haven't. and please do inform me how someone goes about cheating in this game because from the way i look at it anything that has any affect on the game isn't client side but server side so it just seems nearly impossible to cheat.

He's silver 3. I bet every time he finds someone skilled or a smurf, he yells out SCRIPTER.

And people cheat usually threw micromanagement, it's not so OP that it's an instawin. But it's unpleasant enough that you might realize it. I've never met a scripter.

You keep posting those same screenshots and all they show is that Riot is doing there job by banning them.

Also we know those websites exist, so what? Only the minority who suck actually use them. I highly doubt your anything but silver.

In every game there will be hacker but League of legends isn't full of hackers and it isn't anywhere NEAR 50%. I'm sorry you can't climb the ladder.

By the way don't lie, I checked your account KDA, you never ward and you die a lot more than the average player. On vi you usually get 5 kills and 9 deaths per game on average. You KDA on any champ doesn't surpass a 2.

And all I'm saying is until every single scripter is banned, I don't want to play this game anymore. You say "In every game there will be a hacker" That's enough of a reason for me to get sick of it. and once you get to high plat ELO it's literally 6/10 people scripting. When you get there for yourself you'll see what i'm talking about, friend.

Your insulting everyone who's worked hard to get to their Division and Tier. Your saying 60% of people in plat are scripting which besides being utter bullshit is and insult to everyone who's tried to be good at the game and worked for it.

The most popular game in the world, miles above everything else like Diablo 3, will always have some sort of hacker because of how many people can try to cheat the system. Riot does a good job of making sure the large majority of them get banned.

If your gonna let some scripters stop you from enjoying the game, then your letting idiots like them win. I hope you realize everything isn't as bad as it seems and play the game and have fun.

I don't know what more to say, it is that bad from plat - diamond. By the time a lot of them hit master i see them say they've been banned on that forum i mentioned. But that doesn't change the fact that they're messing up the game for a lot of people in the meantime. All I'm saying is if RIOT cant stop the cheat engines from injecting into the game, then they need to IP/RANGE ban repeat offenders.

That's the dumbest shit I've heard all month. Just because there are 300k registered users on their site does not mean 300k people are scripting. Seriously. You are not using your brain at all here. You're just that bad at the game that you have to accuse everyone of cheating I guess.

Been playing for over a year and a half and out of my over 2000+ games I've had one person I thought MAYBE was scripting and it was a draven who managed to catch axes extremely well despite minions being in the way. Even then I couldn't convince myself of it.

I just want to apologize to RIOT for not blacking out the links to the site when posting screen shots. I realize it was irresponsible to post screenshots with links to a site like that, felt compelled to do because I feel like until everybody in the community knows that these things exist, we can't start reporting them as a community together.
