I haven't bothered with ranked at all the last 2 seasons. Period. First, there was no solo queue, now there is somewhat solo queue, but auto-fill, which causes troll supports and lane steals and auto locks, as well as incredibly amounts of toxicity when an ADC gets a noob auto fill support, they rage at them all match till they quit, then they themselves quit. 3v5 yay.
I thought my placements were bad before, i had 3 different matches where i had an AFK on the team ( before remake) then the 4th match our JG ran it down mid because he didn't get a good enough leash. 4 out of 10 insta losses. Haven't played ranked since :/ why bother? I'll just get more fucking AFKS and get ranked based on that....
Hell i can only imagine how great that will be with auto-fill! Ranked is a joke, it means jack shit, i'm unranked and i beat golds, plats, diamonds etc, well actually i went even with the diamond but we were both Zed, so, we just killed eachother over and over. I have yet to be graced with a challenger, but i doubt i could hold my own against that since my CS is quite lacking when i tilt. SO i can assume id'e lose that one for sure xD.
But still, ya get my point, when an unranked is beating golds or higher, you know the ranked system doesn't mean jack shit, especially if it doesn't account for anything out of your control like AFK's, and Run it down midders.
But i guess that's why folks have more than 1 account. 1 for fun, 1 for serious play with possible friends and voice chat.
