Why can't we get some mobile sites?

Or at least maybe some more responsive sites. With a little more HTML and less CSS and Javascript. This chat box is laggy on my S3 and I've had to repeat 5 double words for typing too fast so far. No mobile for the normal site, this site, or the new merch site. And they all have the same laggy elements that make them a pain, although this one is especially bad.
