This is just my personal opinion but with the release of One for All there should be less of a penalty for leaving that queue.
My prime example being, say your team wants to play a champion you absolutely cannot play at all, and in that scenario it would be better for you to leave than to play so you don't drag your team down, which will lead to them not giving you any grief for sucking.
which means people will just be constantly leaving until they get the champion they want.
like you have an expectations that you might now get the role you want in soloq ranked, you should have an expectation that you won't get the champ you want in one for all.
plus this mode is for fun, so it doesn't even matter if you are dragging your team down.
Only if they implement a system where someone else takes the place of that dodger.
Dodging isn't just about you, it's about the other 9 people who get sent back to champion select just because a single person was unhappy with the choices made in the lobby. It's a selfish thing to do. If we were paying to play this game, there might be more of an argument to be made for it.
Since it's free, we should be thinking about what's best for the community, not for us personally. Take the chance to learn a new champion.
Here's a novel idea, why don't you just suck it up and play that champion? You aren't going to improve without playing them, plus its OFA so you gives a damn? Worst comes to worst, they get pissy in which case you just mute them, problem solved entirely.
