master tier demotion question

been hearing from people that you need to play at 3 games before you risk getting demoted from master tier, just asking the general populace if this is true.

like if i win, then lose 2 and then lose at 0lp, that means im demoted right? and there have no reports of this bugging out and people getting demoted after 1-2 games righttttt? halp
