Is there a way to check total concurrent players?

One that comes to mind is Steam's game stats where they show total concurrent players, along with that day's peak concurrent player count as a graph.

Just so I can do a rough daily comparison of total concurrent players between LoL and Dota 2.

I mean they claimed 32 million unique monthly users a while ago, now they said its 72 million. The numbers seem insanely huge, and i'm not quite sure i believe it...but i can't disprove it so it must be.
