Can I level Champion Mastery in normal games?

Or is it only in ranked? I want to level other champion masteries without having to spam rank solo queue, not gonna be able to handle the stress on that.

You can level champions Mastery in "Blind Pick", "Draft Pick", "Team Builder" and "Ranked Solo/Duo".

All of these are under the "Classic" game mode and "Summoners Rift" map.
