League of Legends Match History

So i was in a game, right, basically our garen fed the fizz too much early game that became a real pain in the ass late game, me and lucian won lane, and got the first tower and i stole dragon but you know, supports cant do much, so take a look at how much dmg i did and how many wards i placed, and the assists i got and compare that to the enemy support, and compare it to my team, so my question is why? Did we lose because I wasnt a good support? Did I not ward enough? Was my build shit?

if it was the fizz that got out of control, i would have probably gotten locket over frozen heart.

also if you look at fizz's match history you'll see that he's a VERY good smurf so don't feel bad about getting stomped. happens.

EDIT: fizz may be elo boosted

EDIT EDIT: fizz is most definitely elo boosted, consider reporting this to riot

I personally might have maxed w 2nd in that situation as it gives your team more waveclear and they don't have a ton of thins to black shield. Fizz is gonna burst through that regardless of rank anyways. Now if you noticed fizz was full build. The best thing to do when the enemy carry is at or near full build is to stall. You did well to get a blue trinket as that is the best trinket for defense. Fed fizz is very annoying because of his burst, dueling potential, and escapes. The fact that the enemy vayne was doing well at this point doesn't help. However due to the gold disparity even though their team comp is overall stronger late game, their lead at this point means that if everyone had full build then the power gap would actually be smaller. So stall, waveclear, get a banner to push out the bot lane wave so that it makes it harder for them to do baron. As I don't have any footage to go over I will give you a few basic pointers as a support main. After you take first tower roam. As a support falling behind in levels doesn't matter as much esp on someone like morg who will get burst regardless of level. Falling 2-4 levels behind your adc isn't a bad thing as long as you are applying pressure, taking turrets, and getting kills. The fact that your team has so much targeted cc means that Fizz should have to stick with his team to be strong. Garen silence, tf gold card, a lucky bind, jax stun, all of these can combo together to the point where you should be able to kill him. As lucian will just get killed by Fizz and can't add to the cc chain make sure he isn't ever in the same lane as fizz, get him to go on waveclear duty. Lategame vayne will > lucian, but not by much, just funnel farm into lucian and get him to hold the team together and waveclear until your team starts to catch back up in levels and items. Don't fight over objectives although if they are doing a 4 man or less baron then you can push them off. While morg is one of the better supports at carrying you are still a support and don't expect to carry. Just play safe, watch the map and warn teamates, help decide which members will make the most use out of farm and decide if someone should go with them to soak xp. Basically as long as your team cooperates focus their efforts and act as a control center. Recommend items to your team. Since you were falling behind get Jax to go tank after just sated and rageblade. Luc and Tf will bring most of them dmg. Get garen to swap out that Rav hydra for titanic, it is a free swap and scales better on garen. Make sure your whole team has tier 2 boots the moment the game starts to get out of control, rushing captain to help allies run away is very potent on morg because of black shield, that distortion is only useful for flash on you. The Frozen heart was a good pickup based on their team, another option would have been zekes because lucian didn't have much crit. Mobi boots are pretty weak vs their team though. Fizz and Akali can easily break the speed boost and so does both your q and w which you will be using quite a bit. I personally would have gone lucidity so that exhaust has a shorter cd, swifties would be your other option. I don't know what you were building next but either you or jax should have gotten locket. If you went for banner make jax get a locket. Garen should never get 2 dmg items, keep an eye on team builds and give them recommendations. he should have gone Cleaver, Sunfire/Spirit (Depending on how well he was doing / the type of dmg he was taking most from fizz at this point) basic boots should be gotten early into merc treads/swifties as soon as he starts falling behind. Of course a lot of this depends on your team, all you can do as a support is try to keep them safe, sane, and smart. A lot of people don't respond well to help especially when losing lane, be patient and positive at all times and try to figure out what they respond well to. Does telling them that a spirit visage will help make them farm up for it and play nice? Does reminding them that Fizz can only get so strong before hitting the item cap? Does telling them that you will roam to their lane after you next back? Try to coordinate with your team, a garen, jax, and morg showing up in Fizz's lane at 15 minutes is pretty much a sure kill + shutdown gold, between the 3 of you you have a lot of cc and a major execute, don't hold back on the ults.
