Are we going to receive any compensation for this?
Riot has officially admitted that there is a problem with the game and players being unable to login...after about a week of issues with this.
Just between today and last night I've probably disconnected from about seven or more games, and around three in a row right before the servers went down. The issue is that the firewall error won't let me (and presumably tons of other people) connect to the game unless we close the client and log in again, but when we close the client we of course get told that this will give us a time penalty for leaving.
So if you can't connect to the game, you're marked as a leaver, if you close the client to reconnect to the game, you're marked as a leaver anyway?
Am I misunderstanding the situation or are we just being royally screwed over? So that brings me to the thread title. Are we going to be compensated for this in anyway? Will the leaver marks be erased, or not counted? Some other people have asked if Riot will be giving out RP as an "apology", will something like that be happening? Or are we just going to be blamed by the Leavebuster because the game client isn't working?
The bolded bit is what I think is really important.
