Morde scrub needing help

so i picked up because i want to get good at him since metawl is the only earth beat (heartbeat) i need (pun OP) but i dont know what i'm doing so i was hoping to get some help from you guys (or malecious if you see this)

basicly, i mostly play him top lane and i dont know my powerspikes, runes/masteries

i run 9x armor reds, 9x hp/lvl yellows, 9x mr/lvl blues, 3x armor Quints and 12/18/0 masteries with stormraiders

what skill do i max first and why ? i usually go Q for trade, or E if i have to push like crazy
whats the best build on average (they arent all ad, all ap, or some weird shit) im building
what matchups should i avoid ? and which ones are the easiest ?

ive yet to see a matchup where i dont beat the shit out of my opponent BUT i have trouble finishing them off, most of the times i force them out and dont get my kills or get camped cause i push like a r%%%%%.

i feel like thats already alot, so ill wait for tips from XP morde players thanks guys cia on the rift

Well first of all you may want to run summoner 4 summoner 14 if you're having troubles finishing off your opponents. Ignite complements Morde's bully play style and nets you a lot of kills early which helps you snowball. Flash is just the best Summoner spell right now due to its offensive and defensive properties.

Masteries I run 12/0/18 with Grasp, helping you a lot in early trading and providing great sustain

runes I personally think are core on Morde are MS quints, hp/level seals, magic pen reds and either scaling AP or MR glyphs.

item 3116 is core, duh. But I think the other must buys for Morde are item 3146 and item 3053 From there I usually get item 3065 and item 3157 I found myself using either sorc boots or Mercs, the latter, paired with 12/0/18 masteries and item 2138 puts you at around 50% tenacity.

Max Order's usually E->Q->w since your siphon's the most reliable spell and your primary farm and poke tool. Grab a point in w at levwl 2 though for early pushing.

About matchups (since MM covered excellently all the build factors :D) I only had problems against Darius and Irelia. Illaoi and Gnar might be some though enemies too but against the tentacle lady (that sound inappropriate) you just need to be careful and walk away of her ultimate, try not to get your soul pulled out and when it happens charge at her and beat her up.

I've seen someone max W first for sh*t tons of healing and since Q and E have pretty bad base damage per level, and it works pretty well. Not saying it's good cause I've yet to try it, just some additional info :)
