Honors for ARAMs!

I'm sure everyone who enjoys ARAM agrees that while it may be fun, you don't receive much from it aside from meager IP. As a result, my friends generally don't want to play ARAM games with me claiming it's more rewarding to play 5's or 3's. So in a way of hopefully sparking interest for them to play games of ARAM with me I'm going to spit out an idea that might hopefully catch on!

From here on out, whenever I finish an ARAM game, I'm going to give Honors (even if they didn't do remarkably great) to my team and notable opponents whenever I finish my games in ARAM. The Honor system was a great system implemented back about 3 or so seasons ago. The coolest thing about the system was that you could get banners from a ratio of Teamwork's, Helpful's, and Honorable Opponent's. If everyone started seeing banners pop up as a result of ARAM, it might create a more interesting spark for players to play the mode!

Anyone else agree?

That's a noble, albeit naive, idea.

One major issue to me is that the Honor system is so forgettable that even Riot's admitted it's a failure. The banners kinda looked novel and neat for a little while, but then the vast majority of the playerbase ignored them.

The fact is that modes with ranked will always be more gratifying if only because of the rewards. Unless Riot unexpectedly introduces new unranked rewards, selling people on the gameplay is likely your best shot at popularizing a game mode.
