Anti-Troll buttom for Ranked queues

Hey fellow summoners. Have a nice day.

I got a striking idea. As I got a bitter matchmaking in SoloQ the other day. Nowadays trolls are something common. I don't know how is it in higher leagues, but I am bronze 4 (Please don't hate me) and it is very often that in matchmaking some random guy (who's not first pick) wants a roll that's been already picked and decides to either do a troll pick, or doing a right pick but intentionally ruining the game. I've asked to some other friends in silver and it is also something that happens there.

I am proposing a very fair solution.

We could implant a "Innapropiate Behavior" button that it is only accesible for the first pick summoner, who is the team's captain.

What for?

When the team's captain (first pick summoner) sees that some guy is either toxic or it is not properly picking a champ, he can click that button and mini buttons will appear for the other summoners (excluding the one who's being judged). That voting would determinate if either the the judged summoner stays or is punished.

The voting would consist in:

  • 4 Yes -- 0 No = Punishment
  • 3 Yes -- 1 No = Punishment
  • 2 Yes -- 2 No = Pardon
  • 1 Yes -- 3 No = Pardon

Remember that since the team's captain started votation he is voting as "Yes"

Punished summoner should be kicked from matchmaking and recieve a time punishment ONLY FOR RANKED QUEUES.

You know, thats not a bad idea honestly, I think it could only help the matchmaking system.

  1. This would completely remove non-conventional champs, so NO.

  2. Nothign sto stop e a group of 3 friends from being asshats, so NO.

  3. What would be the punishment? - To be forced to play with asshats that dont like your pick?, -- No.

This would be great for normal Q too, except that if 3 people come at once, and they all be asses, then it wouldn't work... (Look at Bolraguard's comment)

This could easily be abused.

What you are saying is true, I am Bronze 1 (I dont hate u) and I failed promos several times coz of "SUPP VLAD". There is no real solution to this problem, but if Riot did implement ur suggestion, you cant only have the team captain say wheteher or not he is trolling. A lot of the time the 1st picks are duo with the trollers so you have to make it fair by allowing anyone to press that button.

You have to think thus you may not end up with a party of 3 in your game but what about 2 toxic duos attacking you because you called a role 1 of them wanted so they mystical all hate you now or 3 toxic players team captain sides with a duo that is mad at something the 4th or 5th did and will now go mess with them?

Good idea but structurally flawed. Great idea still able to be abused just not as common

This shouldn't only be given to the first pick leader. What if he is the troll? It should be given to the whole team. That way the more votes to kick the player would be based on everyone. It is more fair and reliable.

im not sure about you but i duo alot. and i get matched with either a full 3 premade or a solo player n another duo i dont think rank is any other way the problem with that is if you get a group of two or more and one of them is a troll your still kinda stuck with dealing with it because group of friends tend to not care what there friend is doing in some cases and they wouldn't vote to kick there friend out unless they are just as serious about the match.

I feel your pain. I fell from Bronze 3 right down to Bronze 5 just because of trolls and afks.

I think this system would get abused. How about at least the tribunal is able to see the chat before and after the game instead of just in game?

im all for this as long as its 4 votes to remove troll, or 3 if the troll is duo. reason being, its very common to get someone who wants to try a weird pick for a role, a pick that isnt viable, if thats what you wanna do go play norms.

ranked should be for those people who want to play their best champs and win, its not a place for testing out ideas.

plus it would solve the problem with peopel taking spots that already were picked.

it wouldnt get rid of interesting picks since you can talk with your team before you pick letting em know what you were planning, if they say no then dont do it, it is a team game so listen, if your pick is viable but not the norm people will most likely not kick you, remember they would need 4 votes to kick, and not everyone is "OMG NO DONT PLAY THAT PANTH SUPP" there are people that know weird picks work.

and if you did get kicked nothing bad should happen, just to prevent people abusing it, trolls get kicked, means they dont get to ruin that game till they pick properly/ dont steal a lane.

if a non troll gets kicked cuz he picked something the team didnt agree with and refused to change then he gets kicked and reconsiders why he was kicked, maybe his pick was truely bad.

dont add wait times, or if you do, then only if they get kicked 3 times in a row, say what you want, it would be very rare to get kicked 3 times in a row if you talked with your teammates and found something you all agreed on.
