Can Sona Mid?

Yes! She does a billion damage with Q + Powerchord. Problem is getting there, since she has low starting hp and no real form of lane safety. If you can get around to buying your Lichbane, you can basically one-hit your enemy laner if he isn't ahead of you.

Yes, sona mid used to be meta now not so much but she still can chunk pretty hard, just be carefull of not exploding while trying to land those Q+Powercords.

Can, yes, buuuuuut, between being squishy, no escape mechanics, and relatively low mobility, she can get punished incredibly hard for it.

Sure. Anybody can. That said, it's not great as her kit revolves around aiding others near her. Check out Break The Meta's version of it for a reference on how it can work. It's jsut really hard to farm and you have to be careful of many types of matchups where you'll just get bursted so fast.

There is a diamond player that does this a lot, his IGN is AP Sona I think, she has crazy burst once you get items, you do need to be good at last hitting under turret though, I've tried playing Sona in every lane and she can work pretty well mid.
