Can someone Explain to me how wanting to play LOL with another girl is wrong

i made a post saying i would love for any serious female gamer to hang out with and play LOL with and i'm a girl and i got 5 Dislikes is it wrong for a girl to want to play a game with a gender she is comfortable with i get nervous when i talk to boys so girl are a lot easier and more fun to play with i got called thirsty but i'm a girl my name is Denise!

i'm getting sick and tired of these people bashing girls for no reason so i can't ask to play with other girls now without getting dislikes okay

Sure, but this is probably one of those all-too-common cases of internet misogyny. That's pretty common and I can't figure a good reason for a female to bother here if she weren't personally interested.

Misogyny exists and it makes your experience all the more real. Even/especially when others don't see it. I think that dislikes happen for more reasons than gender. The motivation can only be assumed in this case and that makes assuming a mistake. We shouldn't assume anything ever. I down voted her not for her gender but her approach to a discussion. She wanted to someone to "explain" some arbitrary point. She didn't want to have a discussion because when I tried to have a discussion she stopped replying to me. It's a deflection.

She's frustrated. Her experience as a female is real. But it is important to identify the true issues and tackle those instead of being distracted by things that are assumptions and let 5 dislikes go.

I suspect people didn't read the post. I tend to see a title looking for female gamers and assume it's the Internet doing its creepy Internet thing.

How can you even see my room????? you can barley see it you can see half my bed my camera case and barely my mini-fridge and my hot seal (i stole from work lol don't steal from your job its not cool)

I don't know... You don't seem super approachable. Though you can easily deny you're trying to start a fight, it sounds like you're trying to start a fight. If you're uncomfortable talking to whoever, then find friends naturally through games. I find players I like all the time, my friends list is growing rapidly with extraordinarily nice people.

Who am i starting a fight with though? My intentions where no to start a fight with boys? The boards? The air? I don't know who you think im starting a fight with even though i wasn't targting anyone i was just complaining. And we all can't be sociable and outgoing like yourself mike im pretty akward and mking friends don't come easy, and I'm not sexists i just get nervous when im talking to boys and you are the one starting the fight.

You're complaining to whom? Complaining to complain? I'm just not sure who that helps. If I were a female, I wouldn't want to join you based on this post. Edit: You asked someone to explain something arbitrary to you. You were mad/upset. It's reasonable to think you wanted to start a fight. You said "duh" to someone else which is a condescending tone for a reply when they were trying to "explain" it to you as you asked.

Perhaps my response is a bit snippy, sure. I'm sorry for that. I'm just not sure why gender matters. We should be working to remove the "us vs. them" mentality. I feel as though making a decision based solely on gender proliferates a poor situation. I wear both pink and blue in my hair as a symbol of pride that we, as people, should be able to live and work and play together regardless of gender bias.

I'm sorry that you feel uncomfortable for whatever reason, I know that being a female on the internet sucks sometimes. However, you shouldn't let others keep you down. Have a really awesome day.

6 dislikes... I could see the problem if it was upwards of 100 or so negatives, but 6 people that probably didn't read and just downvoted. And piece of advice, in the end, don't give a fuck what others think, 1 downvote or 100, if you get something out of it thats your thing to deal with not theirs.
