Proper idea submission formatting? @Ghostcrawler @Fearless

So I have been tracking the boards for a while, and like many other members of the community I have many questions or ideas I would like to send in Riot's direction. I have seen riot employees in the past request posts without number crunching, (which makes sense considering it's your job to crunch the numbers) and it caused me to think on the way posts are written. My question to the Rioters is this: What is the preferred format you would like to see us use to communicate our questions and ideas to you?

In other words, what information, and how detailed, would you like to see in our questions? And what information do you find most useful when reading over suggestions?

I think this is one of those deals where everyone has different preferences, but since you called me out, I'll state that I am more likely to read something short and sweet than long and rambly. (Very long posts also seems to go along with the expectation that we'll address every single point when responding.)

To set expectations, we're also really unlikely to just grab someone's idea for a new champ or skin right off the forums. There are legal considerations, and the truth is that most developers usually have far more ideas than they have bandwidth to execute on them all. We are more likely to use a clever solution to a problem or a suggestion to improve something. Questions are always awesome, though it's still unfortunately unlikely that we will be able to answer them all.

In general, you'll probably be happier if you consider the boards primarily a vehicle for players to communicate with other players. We will join in the conversation when we can, but there are far more of you than there are of us. :)

Ghostcrawler makes a point that is easy to gloss over/forget, just because a red doesn't comment doesn't mean no red has seen it.

There have been previous discussions about how our inability to know if something has been seen by Riot has led to many believing Riot simply doesn't read forum/board posts. That in turn gave way to some other discussions requesting a "seen by Red" feature.

I think that as long as a post has good intent and is well presented, it will get attention regardless of length.
