I made a topic asking for my chat logs in Help & Support, but it got deleted and I was told to post here. Can I have my chat logs for what I was banned for? I've had a support ticket in for 10 days now and haven't gotten them. I don't care if they're publicly posted. I just want to see what I was banned for without warning or previous punishment.

Given that Riot's policy is "retaliation is unacceptable," under what situation might the context surrounding toxic commentary from a player is excusable or not?
Shyguysay1 votesI actually didn't know the policy for responding was that black-and-white, so I'll admit that technically there never is a time. I find it funny, though, that they have that so concrete and black-and-white when the criteria for the initial comment being over the line is rather subjective in and of itself.
Even so, there are times when, in my opinion, it's justified. Telling someone to "f*** off and feed somewhere else," for example, is, in my opinion, just fine if that person keeps feeding your lane and is toxic instead of listening to advice and reason. Continuous "retaliation" is never really justified, though, because anything passed that initial comment you make you should just ignore them at that point.
Jubbinaut1 votesThe point is, toxicity is toxicity. Toxicity is not "sometimes okay" or "maybe okay" or "situationally okay." Toxicity is never okay. Because there's always another way to say what you need to say.
And communicating toxically is - and I don't know why this would ever surprise anyone - less likely to get people to want to work with you, help you, or agree with you.
