Hey guys I was playing Yasuo today and I was using auto cast and I'm sick of having to set it up at the beginning of each game. Should League introduce a system in which you can save which spells you want to auto cast for each individual champ. I think if it is put into the game it should be set up like item sets on every different champ that you play. What do you guys think of this idea should it be introduce? Do you guys even use auto cast?
What champs do you not like having auto-cast on? I have yet to dislike auto-cast on everything, makes combat easier for me.
I use auto-cast for every ability except for Rumble's ult (don't know why, I always had trouble with it, whereas I had no trouble with any other ability). Be thankful Riot at least made it super easy to turn smart cast on and off. Back in my day, we didn't have any fancy arrow buttons on the options first menu. We had to SEARCH for our smart cast. :P
For years I did it manually with Shift-cast, but about a month ago I switched to Q-W-E on auto, with just R being normal. The first few days were a bit rough, muscle memory had me holding Shift again, but now I'm quite used to it. I've played 30+ different champs and have not felt any need to disable it. The only reason I haven't enabled R is so I don't waste an ult should I ever fat-finger it.
Yeah, i never got why somespells should not be as we call Smart-Casted ( is it realy auto cast in the NA client?) Always felt like it is way easer to put everything out and never had any trouble with a spell going of where i might not want it to go, after all it still can be canceld as long you hold the key down when you have the range indicator activated.
While I personally feel that using anything other than smart cast is intentionally harming your gameplay, I know that many players do not use smart cast for everything, and because of that riot should introduce this.
That is a lot of ridiculous work, imo. I don't disagree, but I have a current solution for you:
Bind your Auto/Self/Quick cast keys to separate keys or use CTRL/Shift/Alt QWER as intended
Get a mouse with 2+ thumb buttons. I use a Razer Naga Epic, but I was also using a Death Adder with MB4, 5, and Ctrl+4, Ctrl+5 as my abilities.
