Why do I get nothing for years of honor?

Riot did this new honor system and stole all my honor and my Great Leader honor banner. Now they want ME to play honorably? I think not.

"Stole"? The old honor system was broken beyond repair, everyone knew that. So few people had Banners I doubt any of your teammates could have told you what yours stood for.

So you'll only act honorably for the recognition of others? Sounds like Riot did the right thing in removing the banner, you're showing your true colors weren't honorable after all.

I spent 4 years amassing over 6000 honor. Getting honor was the main reason I played the game. I went out of my way to be nice and to never tilt or troll in game. They took it all away and gave no recognition for it. That's as dishonorable a thing as a game company can do. The old system was fine, but I can understand wanting to update it. However, if they are just going to reset and take things away every time they have a new idea, what's the point of these things at all? Imagine if they took away all your skins and RP tomorrow and just said they were doing a new system. Don't you think that would be pretty messed up? I do. Why not just carry over the honor those of us who had banners had into the new system? Why should I start at the same spot as someone who just started an account yesterday when I have put in over 4 years of honorable play?

That's... pretty messed up honestly. Your primary reason for playing a game was so you could get an occasional pat on the back from some stranger? Surely there are better ways to fill that desire. Go volunteer somewhere, you'll be helping others out and you'll fill the same desire for appreciation.

Tell me how much RP you spent on Honor and I'll consider that a valid comparison.

What's your conversion ratio? What does 1 honor from a system where you could get 9x honors a game mean for a system where you can at most get 1 honor per game? How many old honor points would you have lost from someone else being honored on your team instead?

You start at the same spot because the honor system is tied to more than a banner now. It's a way to unlock content, some of which is worth RP, some of which is only available through the Honor System.

Also, I have written several letters and forum posts about this and have gotten no response from Rito whatsoever. So yeah, I've tried to be a nice guy about it.
