xD I'm slowly learning Braum and Thresh. Lucky for me, my adc is usually my duo partner, so I won't get raged at too much for flaying the wrong way.

Thresh isn't as complicated as he appears to be. The flay, well, just think of it this way. Which ever way your cursor is facing is the direction that gets pushed out. So place it in front of you and you will push enemies away from you. Place it behind you and you will pull the enemies in front of you towards you. Just be aware that it can be used to interrupt channeled enemies and is your primary peeling tool. So do not spam it openly because the enemy will capitalize on it. Also your hook can be used as an escape tool. Run into the jungle ward a camp and hook and leap over the walls to create distance between you and the enemy. And throw a lantern back so your ADC can escape too.

And Braum is a good counter to anything with strong poke but lacks CC. Stuff like Caitlyn, Ezreal, Lucian, Sona, Janna and Bard get countered by Braum's shield. The shield blocks all initial damage but not whatever crowd control that comes with it. So stuff like Blitzcrank grabs, Karma missiles and Lulu glitterlances get their damage blocked but the slows and displacements occur normally. So with these things it is better to dodge with your leap than to tank with your shield.

In most match-ups Braum is what you call a reactionary support. Janna, Alistar and Taric fall into the same category. They COULD initiate a fight, but their kit is geared more towards making sure a fight doesn't happen. For instance Braum has a stun tied to his passive, but its not an immediate stun. It needs to be followed up with 3 more auto attacks. Braum could activate the stun himself but at the cost of a large portion of his health. Instead Braum puts a mark of his passive on someone hoping that they back off because despite being melee Braum would rather be at a distance from his enemy where his shield can block off their poke and he has sufficient time to dodge the poke that cannot be blocked by his shield. Braum's ideal ADC isn't so much an ADC with massive burst but one who is moderately mobile and who is capable of kiting. Braum can hit them with his slow and if they continue to pursue Braum's ADC will kite them and activate the stun. Braum can be used offensively where he can leap to an ally or minion and then try to get a stun off on his target but doing so requires considerably more effort than say Sona, Morgana or Blitzcrank who can start a fight with the press of a single button. So my advice with Braum is to have the mentality that "if nothing happens and it becomes a farm fest, I am doing my job." No need to harass and poke on a frequent basis (you're not Sona where that's the only thing you can do), just save your slow for peeling the enemy ADC off the fights and your shield and leap whenever something long ranged gets sent in your ADC's Direction.

I scream it every game when I see adc's in ranked bitch about not seeing a gank coming but have 2 wards in their inventory while I burned a sightstone and didn't even get the sweeper because I knew I'd need my trinket wards to cover his ass too AND still get visions almost every back. I hate ADC's who will sit next to a bush and not drop a FREE REFILLABLE ward. No, jhin and cait traps AREN'T the same, although at least Cait traps hold someone and point where they are.

I just repeatedly ping a bush where I want them to place a ward. Either they drop it right away or I'll annoy the piss out of them until they do.
