why can friends friend invite me every 30 seconds

I personaly mainly play with pepole i know but from time to time their friends wich i don't know invite me, it gets o my nerves extremely quickly and it seems completly pointles to me. why is this a feature?

anyone can invite anyone regardless of friend status... I could invite you to a game right now, if I wanted :P
