Issue with that, is that he has only a 65% favor rate in his own party, he would never get the wide reaching support, he's too right. He would have to appeal to his hardcore right wing types through the primary's, but come general election, when he has to pull majority, he would appear flip-floppy, ex. See McCain/ Romney. If it were too come down to those two, Hilary has a stronger stance going into general election, seeing as she is rather moderate for a left wing.
