Making IP more useful

So I've been playing for quite awhile, have a few accounts. For the most part, after getting all my runes that I need, pages, champions, IP has been somewhat, not worth as much. I even did name changes on one of my accounts every few weeks because I'd have nothing to spend it on. I've talked to others about this and they do the same thing. I think IP should have more of a benefit, the more we play, the more we earn to spend with it on nothing. Perhaps a system where IP can be exchanged for RP can be put into place, even if the exchange rate is extremely high. Or maybe the possibility of donating IP to other players, to help them gain what they need. Just an idea and hope to hear what you guys think.
