MOBA game without replay == no useful game play analysis

So how is LoL to be taken seriously in the MOBA community if you can't even reconstruct what went wrong beyond the basic stats level? It's not as if replay mode would be something that needs to be implemented from scratch..... it's just dumping server logs and feeding them to the client again.

Related to this, I also have the impression that the low tier players in DOTA are actually high tier player in LoL. Whenever I pick Ashe in LoL and use it as a carry, my win chance is probably around 90% just because my damage output is way over the top. Such a simple strategy does not work in DOTA (with such a high rate of success). Not even at 0 mmr. So LoL might have a lot more players, but it's obvious the quality of the player base is lacking comparatively. A missing replay analysis is part of this issue for sure.

BTW: if there is no replay mode bec dev costs seem not worth it, think again: a lot of youtube content about dota is from replays. Most players don't record their live games, but deem some of the games worthy being published after the fact. So if you want more publicity....
