How about a permanent chat ban not only would that solve most of the toxicity issues but it would allow them to cool off over time! sometimes its hard "when i lose cause of smurfs" to contain myself but thats all the more reason to implement this it would prevent vocally toxic behavior from that player for good! "unless they make a new account"

The players did not reform because chat restrictions didn't matter to the worst people that got them; they'd just use their limited chat to continue it, or be toxic in new ways. Some people are going to be toxic no matter what the punishment is. Even 14 day bans and the threat of a permaban doesn't stop some people.
