Either way, no matter how you look at it, you have to understand that they were likely performing very poorly and the system accounted for that, on top of that you have to know you have been performing very well as shown by your promotionals being started, meaning that the system was bound to challenge you. Those two factors being added at the same time gave you this kind of match up.
Trust me I know your pain but I have come to take it as a compliment that I have a chance of winning.

They cant and shouldnt match your team up based off personal elo scores in ranked 5's.
its good to play against better player because you get better ^.^ not everyone get that chance so abuse it when you do get it :D
