About
Have you ever wanted an awesome group of players you could just log in and play with, free from all the rage, trolling, or afking? Hour of Turmoil is a new LoL clan devoted to improving our player base. Want to just have fun and do normals? HoT is for you. Want to find duo partners, ranked teams, or work on improving? HoT is also for you! Just the other day, I ran into a trio queue of gold players in normals who went on an intentionally feeding rampage. You all have dealt with these atrocious players. HoT is free from those types of players, and if those players do surface in the future, they will be banned from the community.
HoT was initially started in TERA and has delved into multiple games, currently residing in SWTOR, and now looking push into the LoL scene. In the past, HoT's leader, Immortality, also successfully hosted a community for non-toxic players called GLHFGG with hundreds of active members that accomplished this very goal. If you're also into MMOs, HoT is an absolutely spectacular place to be as you can simply jump in the other chat rooms and play with fellow HoT members.
Why should you join HoT?
-To Improve. Players joining HoT will report skill improvement through our inhouses, tournaments, and various other events.
-To Learn. Do you have a question about LoL or want someone to give you tips on improving? Our members will be able to answer your question or provide resources to do so.
-To have Fun. Playing LoL solo queue and dealing with many annoying individuals (trolls) is quite frustrating. In HoT, you will meet other individuals who have a sincere desire to improve and have fun doing so.
-To play Ranked. Wanting to make a ranked 5s team or looking for a duo partner? There are plenty of people in HoT for you to go into ranked with.
-To Compete. Tournaments will be hosted from time to time with RP prizes as a fun opportunity to compete/improve.
-To Chat. Perhaps, you are a casual LoL player that simply enjoys talking to other, ARAM,or a regular 5s game. We have others who share your interests.
In short, HoT is a place of improvement and fun. LoL is boring to play alone, so come play with us! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me in game (Lmmortality).
Joining HoT
We are all here to play LoL, not go through some long-involved application process.
- Go to the Chat Room Control Panel which is between your friends list and notifications.
- Click the icon on the bottom that says Create or Join when you hover over it.
- Type in "Hour of Turmoil" without the quotations then hit enter.
- On the top of the chat room , you should see a cog. Click that and check auto-join on start up and chat time stamps.
- Introduce yourself in the chat and/or join our Teamspeak 3 server (hourofturmoil.typefrag.com)
