This Game Is Not Fun Anymore Because of Trolls (personal rant)

I have played LoL for an extremely long time now (I think about 4 years), and initially it was fun! I remember having a blast on skype with all of my friends as we try our best to take down the enemy team, and more importantly enjoy our breaks from school. We have all grown up around League and still play. I happen to be the best because i dedicate the most time to it, and have therefore advanced the farthest being Silver 1 and Gold in season 4. Recently, I have never had a good time playing. I lock in for a ranked match when friends aren't online and get camped by the jungler for the first 10 minutes of the game. Following that, my team starts to rage at either me or each other before 20 minutes about some stupid play that some other person made, when it doesn't even matter because what happened, happened. It's a fair argument to say "just mute them," but should I really have to mute my team every single game?

I recently learned a new quote from the Wingsofdeathx stream, "on to the next one." He used this quote when every single lane, including himself, lost by a large margin. I have had to use that quote for more or less every single ranked match I play nowadays. I am trying as hard as I can to play positively, and mute the toxic team flaming me for not hugging tower harder when the jungler is camping me, or not buying enough wards when I am 1-5 at 20 minutes, but every game I've played in has just been a loss. Seeing this, I take a few days to break and come back playing normals to warm up. I win almost all of the 5 normals I play to warm up and decide I am ready to head into ranked. As soon as I get into the champ select my team is already flaming each other and somebody decides to troll with Pantheon adc claiming that they are a Diamond smurf. That game results in a terrible stomp. The next ranked game has a similar result. I play normals and win the SAME day, so I decide to go back to ranked but end up losing more with random trolls lying in all chat to the enemy team so they aren't reported for being toxic or a troll, their only purpose to waste my time. Sure there have been a few legitimate games, and by legitimate I mean we at least have reasonable champions for their roles (no triple jungle). But those games usually result in a stomp. I am very happy to say I have not had a afk in ranked for quite some time, but in some games i would rather them be afk then go 0-20 on Bard leaving me alone bot lane to 1 v 2 the entire game as Vayne. So every ranked game has just been "on to the next one."

I just want to have fun again. I'm tired of trolls, and if there are trolls at least let some of them be on the enemy team, but that just doesn't happen. I am by no means blaming my team unless they troll or are toxic. I'm sure that when i have reasonable games that they do try and just lose to a few unfortunate happenings but I am tired of the skill-gaps I am seeing constantly in the stomps when my team cant win a 3 v 2 bot lane because the enemy jungler is camping me. I am tired of getting teammates who have intentions to troll or be toxic in games. I am tired of being abused if I make one simple mistake that I at least own up to. I'm tired of having to usually having to surrender at 20 if they enemy team doesn't end the game before then in ONLY ranked. I feel like when I don't get camped and I win lane, the 2-12 bot lane just can't be carried when the enemy mid laner starts roaming top because they already stomped their lane, and I just don't know what to do anymore. Maybe I'm not in the right elo but I think I am. I'm not saying I never win ranked, but recently (the past month) I feel it will be just a miserable experience getting flamed for doing quite literally nothing wrong, or having to deal with an incredibly fed jungler. I am only holding on to hope. Hope that the game i once loved will get better and that the community will improve. Hope that one day I can play ranked and not have to worry about being called a fucktard or any other offensive language they throw at me while muted.

I created this rant for my own purpose to vent as just think that at least somebody knows or can understand what I'm going through, not to trash talk my teams or the League of Legends ranked system. I just think that they need some slight tweaking, or maybe I'm just having a rough few weeks with matchmaking. Idk.
