project chests and the augmented chest shards

ok so i'm sure most of you had purchased the project chests (ashe , ekko , katarina , yasuo) and i know all my friends who did had received enough augmented chest shards in those chests to make 2 augmented chest. for some reason i received 5 shards , so now i'm stuck with 2 chest shards and nothing to do with them because you can't earn augmented chest shards. did this happen to any of you also?
