Do you get rewards in season 4 if banned?

I know you don't if chat restricted but I cant find anything on bans. If you are banned during season end do you still get rewards? Has it been confirmed anywhere?

It would still be unfair if that was the case. There are more than one reason to be banned, be it financial dispute or such. Also, just because your toxic doesn't negate all the hours you've put in the game to achieve your rank. That would be exceedingly unfair.

Do you think Riot can't tell the difference in which type of ban a player received? Payment disputes, sure. Whatever. Not a big deal, and those people could still get the season rewards.

But IMO, if anybody is punished for bad behavior of any sort at any time during a given season, they should be immediately ineligible for any rewards for that season. And I'm sorry, but it's so easy to not get punished that I feel no sympathy for those who are. It would also act as more incentive for people to not be total jerks in-game. Want your end of season rewards? Then you better do everything in your power to remain eligible to get them.

That's a terrible stance. Your first mistake is assuming that it isn't easy to get punished for toxicity, when it really is. Many people have been complaining about it as well. Not to mention that there are many of people, including me admittingly who have been banned for the most dumbest things. I have been banned without any previous warnings (no chat restriction just straight banned) for remarks that were clearly competitive between both parties.

You're going to tell me that typing bad words and being temporarily banned for it should automatically make you ineligible of getting something you rightfully deserve because you worked hard for it? All those physical man-hours put into the game negated? That wouldn't be a smart business move for Riot lol.

Less then 1% of the playerbase has received a ban. Over 99% of the community seems to have it figured out. It is not hard to not get banned in this game.

See any Lyte post from the last several months that have addressed this very topic.

You say 'many people' are complaining, but that's flawed. You're seeing a very vocal minority in action here. If they yell loud enough, it'll sound like more people than there actually are. There are no 'ban waves'. There is no conspiracy. And the system is incredibly accurate. I've only ever seen two instances where a player's punishment was revoked because the ban wasn't warranted. Sure, the banned player may not be able (or refuse) to see that their behavior was unacceptable, but that doesn't mean the ban was false.

xBossNasty is exactly right. I wish there were more players like him in this game. There is not a single message that anyone could ever type to me online that would make me think, "Wow, I hope this guy gets banned and loses all of his season rewards." It is such a childish mindset. It is not a coincidence that LoL has by far the worst community out of any PC game. This game brings out the worst in people and they are going to rage. If it bothers you enough that you feel the need to try to get them punished.. YOU have a problem. I could argue that you're just as bad as them for letting it get to you.

Ranked rewards are just that: rewards. I do not believe that a player who has received a behavioral punishment (beyond a warning) during the course of a season is deserving of a reward of any sort of that season. Plain and simple.

If it were proven that the punishment systems in place were highly inaccurate, then I might see this differently. But that is simply not the case.

I got temp banned without warning a few weeks ago, first ban in over 3 years of playing.

In one of the chat logs relating to my ban that I was provided I said "Are you s****ing me!?" After a duo bot intentionally fed then afk'd, they then rejoined 5 minutes thereafter and started harassing the entire team (at which point I muted them). At the end of the game I asked if we could "please report this worthless duo bot".

I'm sorry but how is this banworthy at all? Riot seems to randomly pick out bans with no methodology, I have a few people on my list who actively spout out racial slurs and harass players all game - not a peep from riot about them and they've been doing this since beta.

I honestly think that this 'sophisticated' ban system is nothing more then an arbitrary tally of your accumulated bans - regardless of whether or not they were warranted...When you reach a certain threshold riot then sends out a ban and cites the last few reports.

Well, you're wrong on that, so I have no idea where you're getting information from.

What kind of ban are you talking about? LeaverBuster? (You'll still get rewards unless maybe it was tons of intentional AFKs/ragequits.) Behavioral issues? (Maybe, you might be in trouble if you got a 2-week ban.) Boosting/drophacking? (No rewards for you.)

Behavioral issues more specifically.

Also this is where I got my information. They made a post awhile back about it which stated --

"Season rewards are intended to not only recognize great individual play, but also positive sportsmanship and success in a team game. As a result, the most negative players who are also Chat Restricted at the end of the season will be ineligible to earn ranked rewards such as the loading screen borders or Victorious Morgana champion skin. While the overwhelming majority of players will not affected by this ruling, we wanted to message it well in advance so that any players concerned about their behavior have more than enough time to adjust and reform before the end of the season."

They didn't really outline who would be exempt and who wouldn't. Also, they mentioned nothing about people who are banned.

Like it says: if you're one of the "most negative players" in League and are on chat or Ranked restriction, you may not get Ranked rewards.

If you're actively banned it would probably also depend on whether you are one of the "most negative players".
