Should I even use chat?

I was banned for 14 days. I don't think anything I said in chat was too bad other than when a game was over i usually beg for an ff and when people don't i say something along the lines of "this game is pointless please ff". usually after those games i get reported by my team then they ask the enemy team to report me. should i just not use that chat? its not like anyone uses is for anything legit anyways. the real toxic players who are swearing and being derogatory are still running around while I have to wait 14 days because I don't like playing pointless games. The obvious answer I'm thinking of is no, but maybe one of you can give me a good reason for chat other than timers.

Your report gets looked over by not just one person so you have had to have said something. They don't just ban you for nothing. Being Negative is a reportable offense. Its not a big deal but it is, which is why you got banned. Honestly a chat restriction would have been a more better choice, but then again they don't look over just ONE game. You just aren't remembering.

  1. stop bitching for your team to ff. That's the lazy way out. The time that you could spend farming / warding / catching up, you're spending raging and all chatting that your team is bad. Shame on you.
  2. Your team is the ONLY chance you have to win a game of league... You load in, you're stuck with those 4 people whether you like them or not. So you might as well be nice.
  3. I know for a fact you or your team has come back from a game that you thought for sure you were losing. ( I have come back from games where we had taken zero towers, and the enemy was at our nexus. - it happens) But it doesn't happen, when people like you are bringing the moral of the team down.
  4. What you don't realize you're doing. Is you start hating how the game is going, start nagging about it - and "wow team sucks ff". Do you know how that makes the people that are trying hard feel? The people that are great players, but just got OUTPLAYED. Do you know how it makes them feel when you start saying that shit? Bad. You announcing in a game that your team "sucks" makes YOU the asshole. Don't. Just fucking stop it.
  5. You don't get banned for nothing, I can't say this enough. I see posts EVERYWHERE "yup just got banned for 2 weeks. No idea why. fuck you rito" Yes you do. You might not want to admit to it publicly on a board, but yes you do. If you're banned, you deserved it. The system doesn't just go "well he got banned by 20 people. he's clearly being rude" The reports signal the system to check your chat log for key words / phrases, where it's then reviewed.

90% of chat is toxicity. if it was removed completely nothing would be lost. pings are enough.

p.s. - trying to convince your team to surrender is The Best way to get reported.
