How am I in this elo?

How am I in this awful elo, when everybody is technically supposed to be equal skill as me. Then how come, I know to not 2v5... Or walk in 1 at a time to die to them at dragon. That if they have baron and are pushing mid, we can't beat them 4v5 or even defend that. So why split push top when you aren't going to out push them. I know that, it's obvious... but apparently these people who are equal in skill and knowledge don't know that. How in lane if I'm 3 deaths and losing in cs, and they're an item ahead of me... that I shouldn't try to fight them... Yet people in this elo will do it until they go 0/12 as cait.

How are these people supposedly equally skilled? I've made it a point to not make those mistakes, if my teammate tries to 2v5, I walk away, If I'm behind, I play safe. I understand grouping to defend and wait out a baron buff, and in fact if they're pushing mid harder, that I probably should go defend instead of thinking im trick2g.

Supposedly I'm equally skilled to the people I place with... THEN HOW DO THEY NOT KNOW THIS? The last 10 games I've done in ranked. Multiple of them I had this, 0/12 cait yesterday, before I took my break it was a 0/8 ezreal who fed because (7 minutes in, jungle didn't gank yet) Yet, I've only seen this once on enemy team in a very long time.

If these people are truly equal in play as I am, they should know this.

Just become better at laning. If you're gonna play malphite toplane and completely lose lane against a jax, you're gonna lose unless you have amazing teammates. If you can increase your cs and win lane more often you can carry games. Good decision making isn't the only factor in winning games, especially because in a team of bad players, going along with their bad decision can often be better than going your own way and splitting up your team. A bad decision taken with full conviction is still better than a good decision taken half heartedly.

So yeah, improve your laning so you can carry games. Then use wards to create picks and get 1v1 kills to snowball your lead. Then make simple calls that your team can follow and get those objectives.

School isn't back in yet. You have middle/highschoolers who don't really do much in life but sit on the PC or TV all day. A lot play games like CoD or somethin of the sort and when they play vs the comp or such they think highly of themselves

These same players come to league when school is out and think "I'm better than them so I can easily carry my team" it's just typical kids (and some dumb adults) who don't understand what teamwork is in a team game.

Signs: They ask/complain that you won't 1v1 them They say X lane or feed They say they're a smurf (especially without a duo to at least back them up) Easy to identify if last pick They can only play X role(s)

I main Shaco jungle so when I notice this in a game I make it a mental note to just leave that person be. Do what I can to set the enemy jungle back as far as possible while also helping lanes. That way even if that person on our team is a complete idiot (or just really young) we have hope.

Basically what you have to do is turn the enemy against each other. Do what you can to completely obliterate one person then their team will flame them and not play properly. Set them back. This way your not so good ally can be carried
