"I need some honest opinions and riot assistance." ^^original thread

I tried to get in contact with you all throughout forums because i wanted to get some responses before I up chained my issue. I grinded out my plat rank prior to me deploying as of Oct 9th because i knew for sure i would not be able to play on the internet here. I ended up getting decayed due to my inactivity but if I had played It would do nothing but negatively affect other players do their end of season grind. I have the papers and all to prove what I'm saying is true. All i'm trying to figure out though is will I be able to get my platinum border I worked for or just suck it up and move on...?

Thanks for writing in. Unfortunately, the end of season reward that you would receive would really depend on your ranking when the season ended on November 11, 2014 at 12:01 AM PST. If you've reached a higher league after this time, I'm sorry but you're still not eligible. As this would be very unfair to other summoner's that really gave their best efforts to reach their target league for the 2014 Season. You shouldn't feel discouraged though, as the 2015 Season is a fresh start for everyone, so you can surely makeup your loses for the upcoming season.

I'll keep his name out but man that's rediculous, if you're gonna decay because you physically can't play find the bare minimum, warn the others and leave the game. It's better than feeding and is the only option they give you. :/

This is garbage. Speaking from someone who DOES play other Mobas (like Dota 2) I xan tell you that a human response would have been given by them for sure. You should be able to have an exception for military standards because we dont have the ability to just stop our day and play every day when we are out trying to keep this country safe. I hope someone notices this and helps you out man.

I believe that this is udder bullshit. some people cant get on for long periods of time due to the fact that they are fighting to defend our freedom. i think that if a person is in the military and gets to a league they should be able to have a longer time to get a chance to play before their rank starts to decay

I also don't think ELO Decay should be a thing, but it is. No offense, but you knew that it was. Not sure why you would want an exception to be made for you.

Dude this is not even remotely fair. I watched you grind out ranked matches and now you decayed because you can't play. The answer that you got from them was BS. Sorry if you made ranked up after the season....time out he ranked up before the season ended, but was un-able to continue playing because he did not have the means to do so. This makes me weary about playing ranked now because I'll be heading out the door to do something in the future and I will not really be able to play league because of my location. I hope that an actually employee takes the time to look into this issue instead of some dumb bot giving you an answer that doesn't even apply to your situation.

RE-Check your account when you come home.......its probably a bot that answered you. Its soooo frustrating. I can't speak for Riot, but I can tell you that I've seen this get picked up and reversed by staff. I don't know if they would do it every time, but i DO KNOW it gave me the best feeling to hear this guy tell the almost exact same story as you, only to come home and be pleasantly surprised. So just recheck your account. They said in the video that there were people that watched the boards and sometimes intervened in special things like this.

@sexytaylorswift You have a good point I should have no exemption but others should not have to suffer through a game with me at 400-999ping that's not right man. I've tested out the computers at our morale center to be sure. I tried to contact them before I got here and got nothing but bot responses. I'm just saying overall if you were in my shoes with the same moral standards youd be hurt too after a yr of grinding during the little down time we get in the services just to find out you're gonna get demoted and lose everything due to duty calling.

@Trinityunicorn thank you and I really hope so because as childish as it sounds it really means a lot to me. This game gives me something to look foward to after long days.
