Account got banned dont know why Please help! HELP rioteer who wants to do good!

This is the mail i just received from riot after a horrible game where our last pick player refused to go support role when we needed a support. Refusing the summoners code and flaming extensively. She lies in all chat and after the game asks to report me for flaming the entire game. I get reported and banned for 14 days.

This is the entire mail from riot where you can only see my chat log. The words riot uses as:"This type of behavior is unacceptable in this community." and "This is the only warning this account will receive. Further examples of toxic behavior can result in permanent closure of your account." are really worring me. Riot hasnt answered yet and im afraid about a permanent ban since im not a toxic player, i havent shown toxic behaviour in this or any game in the past 12 months. If you would see the chatlog of the person in question who ignored the summoners code then you would see flaming,blaming, lying. Im a victim in this case and my biggest wish is a rioteer spending 5 minutes in this case to see what can happen with a system that is relying on the reports of 1 or 2 guys in the enemy team who believe the lies they are told cause the entire conversations hasnt been in the all chat.

If you are that rioteer please invest this issue, not because its me that is so important but because it is worth your time i guarantee it.

As a community, we also don't believe that retaliation is an appropriate response, so in cases where there is retaliation, both players receive penalties.   1. Encouraging others to report someone IS a report worthy offense.
  2. If you do make the bad decision to encourage others to report, say it once, and let it rest, I would be you were reported by the majority of the enemy team for the amount of times you raged about Nidalee.
  3. Someone trolling you does not give you an excuse to flame them, you answered their BM with BM of your own - how are you better than them when all is said and done?

Heavy handed punishments coming down now answers the communities statement of "Nothing happens" - reform or be suspended. Message is clear.

I swear, the same thing happened to me this morning. In a game with 2 brothers who were flaming me and I report them and I got banned

the only really bad thing (other that you were annoying as hell and i would have muted you just to not being disturbed by your babbling) was you asking your team and the other team to report Nidalee. Riot has long stated that that is an offense. Other than that i see nothing that deserves punishment, not a ban, NOT a 14 day ban. This is not extreme. It is dumb and annoying but in my opinion it doesnt even deserve a chat ban.

RIOT, you are going to far with your automation. A person would not punish this. Bring back tribunal. Stop automating everything.

Time and time again people make posts like this and Lyte comes and smites them thoroughly. Bans don't just happen randomly.

If you don't like what someone picks, dodge. Picking off-meta is not a bannable issue. However, harassing that person, telling people in all chat to report them, and completely ruining the possibilty of teamwork is bannable. Just because you don't agree with how someone is playing the game, doesn't mean they should be banned. If they continue to do stuff like this, their elo will continue to drop. Protect your elo by leaving the lobby before it starts, and hopefully you won't see them again.
