Account got banned dont know why Please help! HELP rioteer who wants to do good!

This is the mail i just received from riot after a horrible game where our last pick player refused to go support role when we needed a support. Refusing the summoners code and flaming extensively. She lies in all chat and after the game asks to report me for flaming the entire game. I get reported and banned for 14 days.

This is the entire mail from riot where you can only see my chat log. The words riot uses as:"This type of behavior is unacceptable in this community." and "This is the only warning this account will receive. Further examples of toxic behavior can result in permanent closure of your account." are really worring me. Riot hasnt answered yet and im afraid about a permanent ban since im not a toxic player, i havent shown toxic behaviour in this or any game in the past 12 months. If you would see the chatlog of the person in question who ignored the summoners code then you would see flaming,blaming, lying. Im a victim in this case and my biggest wish is a rioteer spending 5 minutes in this case to see what can happen with a system that is relying on the reports of 1 or 2 guys in the enemy team who believe the lies they are told cause the entire conversations hasnt been in the all chat.

If you are that rioteer please invest this issue, not because its me that is so important but because it is worth your time i guarantee it.

  1. Encouraging others to report someone IS a report worthy offense.
  2. If you do make the bad decision to encourage others to report, say it once, and let it rest, I would be you were reported by the majority of the enemy team for the amount of times you raged about Nidalee.
  3. Someone trolling you does not give you an excuse to flame them, you answered their BM with BM of your own - how are you better than them when all is said and done?

Heavy handed punishments coming down now answers the communities statement of "Nothing happens" - reform or be suspended. Message is clear.

like i said the problem is you only see my chatlog. nunu our top laner instantly said @ 5 min ok we will lose this. our midlaner was frustrated obviously since he had the support standing / farming / xping next to him. vayne on bot our adc had a 1v2 lane which is not preferable. My team mates were using flames towards nidalee whilst i used common sense. If you would see the chat log of the person who refused to go mid then you would instantly say wow! the only thing that got me banned here is that after the game the guy says in the after game screen: report zed and jungle (me) for flaming me all game. He actually says as a last pick guys im going mid no matter what you can build around it as a team. that is not how the summoners code works. nobody cares it seems. this system is freaking broken, if riot would have send the entire log then im sure this was reddit worthy

You spent quite a lot of time flaming nidalee, so i think riots response was clear "When there is nothing good to say, don't say anything at all. As a community, we also don't believe that retaliation is an appropriate response, so in cases where there is retaliation, both players receive penalties."

And there's something wrong with this? There's a large number of games that are actually decided on within the first 5 minutes or hell even the champion select screen. Bad choices, team comps, coordination, ect... many factors make a game lost very very very fast.

The main thing is that you just don't stop chatting about how frustrated you are about someone, that the person should stop trolling. You don't have to write an essay about that in chat. Personally I'm not sure if I agree with a 14-day ban and I have a feeling a lenghty chat restriction might do the job. I don't think there is ever a situation where you would really need more than 5 lines of chat within 5 minutes. Maybe I'm slightly exaggerating the last bit because I personally never chat ingame except for the rare drake timer because I type pretty slow and might get killed due to typing/chat distraction.

how did i deserve it? you arent seeing the things she wrote which included flaming,manipulating the enemy team by lying in the all chat and offensive language. I did not violate the summoners code

I swear, the same thing happened to me this morning. In a game with 2 brothers who were flaming me and I report them and I got banned

its sad though, i cant play for 14 days now and if i get the feeling if someone reports me once after that for not saying anything but having a 0-4 jungler game which happens even to lcs players then i get permabanned. Not out of observation but out of a written ban program that doesnt know what is right and wrong. If you would have seen the player in question chat log than you would be really staggered at how this could happen toMe

Well, I know how it feels, the fact that they were so disruptive, used tons of expletives and actually hurt my feelings in some sort of way. Then instead of punishing them, they punish me for no reason. It's funny though. Just use pings alone from nowon, that's what I'll be doing.

the only really bad thing (other that you were annoying as hell and i would have muted you just to not being disturbed by your babbling) was you asking your team and the other team to report Nidalee. Riot has long stated that that is an offense. Other than that i see nothing that deserves punishment, not a ban, NOT a 14 day ban. This is not extreme. It is dumb and annoying but in my opinion it doesnt even deserve a chat ban.

RIOT, you are going to far with your automation. A person would not punish this. Bring back tribunal. Stop automating everything.

Time and time again people make posts like this and Lyte comes and smites them thoroughly. Bans don't just happen randomly.

If you don't like what someone picks, dodge. Picking off-meta is not a bannable issue. However, harassing that person, telling people in all chat to report them, and completely ruining the possibilty of teamwork is bannable. Just because you don't agree with how someone is playing the game, doesn't mean they should be banned. If they continue to do stuff like this, their elo will continue to drop. Protect your elo by leaving the lobby before it starts, and hopefully you won't see them again.
