Rewarded IP Based on Ping

This is just an idea that I had, because I've been lagging in league a lot lately, which as many of you know can get really frustrating. I know it would probably be basically impossible for riot to do this, but I think it would be cool if you got bonus IP based on your average ping in the game. It would be nice to get a little consolation prize for having a laggy game.

The way I would have it setup is take 5% (it doesn't have to be 5%, this is just an example) of your average ping in the game and that's the bonus IP you get. So if you're ping is really good, and you aren't lagging at all, you'll probably only get a bonus of 3-5 IP for the game, but if you're lagging a lot in the game (let's say your average ping throughout the game was 500ms) you would get 25 bonus IP.

Based on what I know, I feel like there wouldn't be anyway to really rig this; for example, you couldn't just disconnect yourself from the internet to earn IP because you can't have ping if there's no connection, and to prevent the bonus IP from getting out of hand, you could probably set a cap of 50 IP or something like that.

Again this is just an idea that I had off the top of my head, and I just want to hear what the LOL community thoughts and opinions are.

Why should people be given rewards for having poor connection? That just sounds ridiculous to me. I regularly have 108-120 ping as standard and it's perfectly playable, people don't need rewards just because they don't have single digit ping. I guess technically it wouldn't be easy to abuse, but why should Riot waste time doing something like this when they could distribute their time somewhere more important, for example, continuing to work on expanding the direct connection system with ISPs they are using and improving match-making?
