Ranked/MMR Help ... A Simple Player Trying to Understand MMR and Placement

WILL UPDATE AS MORE PLACEMENTS ARE COMPLETED

So, I've been playing a little bit of ranked recently. Just a little. Doing my placements, that sort of thing. I just really need some help in understanding how I'm going to get placed, what affects it, and so on.

I've been playing ranked since Season 3. Season 3 - Bronze 4 Season 4 - Bronze 4 Season 5 - Bronze 2

Not sure which ones are still affecting me, but I believe those are the ranks I obtained. In my (almost) 4 years of playing this game, I've improved a lot, yet I've never been keen on ranked. Although it sounds sad, my life goal is Silver. I will be happy forever with Silver. But, sadly, my placements aren't going too well.

I've done 4 matches.

Ahri - 23/7/6, 17k, 180cs : LOSS Ezreal - 15/5/11, 20k, 308cs : LOSS Caitlyn - 11/3/11, 13k, 170cs : WIN (surrender) Ashe - 19/6/7, 20k, 281cs, Pentakill : LOSS Tristana - 11/4/9, 15k, 221cs : WIN Fizz - 4/8/2, 5.9k, 56cs : LOSS (this hurts my soul) Caitlyn - 6/1/10, 8.5k, 112cs : WIN (surrender)

It's making me upset that my teammates are dragging me down. In every single game I've played so far, I feel as if I have pulled my weight, yet others are taking it so light-heartedly. By this alone, I already know I won't be placed in Silver, because of the overall losses. I'm wondering.. Does my individual performance effect my MMR? Especially in these situations, where I've done fairly well each time.

I look forward to reading your responses, as I'm really curious about my situation. I do understand that it is a team game, yet I feel as though my individual performance should at least make an impact on where I get placed.

Thanks for reading, -Centaxyx (aka, PoodleOfThePit)

You could just finish your placements and not have to wonder.

If you are losing that many but still doing well kda wise you may be doing something wrong. Kills don't mean a whole lot. Objectives do. Ive had games in the past where I went 36 n 0 with Katrina but because i only knew how to win fights i lost the game because i wasn't helping to take towers or inhibs. I was just focused on killing. Ive recently had games where i fed pretty hard but still win because i know when to live and die protecting carries ir towers and also taking towers. My suggestion is review your games with lolrecorder and see if you could have done something different. Honestly you're getting bronze 5 even if you would have won all ten.

OK so with 4 games and a 3 loss 1 win rate your most likely going to get B5. Not being mean but with everyone LOSING mmr from the reset and your last season placement (that is the only one affecting you) it seems impossible for you to get higher. If you win the rest in a row you might get B4. Your performance in a match doesn't matter. Only whether you win or lose. Surrendering won't make you lose more mmr. Dodging will. Win streaks and loss streaks matter. all of this comes together to make your mmr. Also The enemy mmr so winning against higher mmr will net you more while losing to lower mmr will lose you more.

Sorry about the afkers. report and hope they get banned. Those loses still count and the game won't take into account that people afked.

Your MMR right now is between Bronze 4 and Bronze 3 ( This is not an assumption, but fact based on your current opponents ). Winning more will make it go up, losing more will make it go down.
