Riot please revise the mute feature?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this in?

Can we got back to ignoring people in and automatically at the end game screen? It is really frustrating when you mute someone saying inappropriate things ( profanity, racial slurs, etc) and then at the end of the game it carries on to the end of game chat log.

For example: I played a Game of ARAM and the enemy Darius had said the 'N' word over and over. I had asked him to stop and then continued to ask if I was a person who he'd be able to see if I smiled in the dark. I muted him after that and played till the end. When the game finished I saw him type the 'N' word over 5 times and referred to my 'N' mother aborting my 'N' brother.

  • It was the full 'N' Word.
  • I reported the Darius player at end game screen, but not without enduring a slew of racial slurs.
  • To be honest I'm not African- American nor do not have any African decent in me, I'm Vietnamese. Regardless I don't really care to see the word written.

In the past when you ignored someone it automatically placed them on your blocked list so you didn't have see anything at the end game screen.

Why do would anyone want to talk to the person they muted at the end game screen when they didn't even want to talk to them in game?

In a nutshell I don't want to see someone's text, who I obviously muted them in game, at the end of game chat log.

I believe part of the reason they stopped mutes from adding to your block list was accidentally muting friends. If you did so, it removed them from your friend list. I personally dropped a couple friends on accident because of a mute misclick.

That being said, when it's legitimately someone being a toxic prick, I don't want to see their post-game chat either, and they do manage to fit a word or two in by the time you re-block them usually :l

A solution could be a prompt to block someone at the end game screen, and to keep them 'muted' until you respond to the prompt.

Or make it so your friends aren't blocked on mute, but randoms are.

I think I might have unfriended people unintentionally as well. That would be really nice if they found a solution as suggested by you two. ;___;

Totally agree, it would be the best way, and it's not even hard to get this feature into the game, i mean literally, to set a Condition, that if the Person was on your friend List before, it would not get blocked is done by anyone with half a year of school I-T...

" Just a little quote, that MAYBE remind u of your own words, and that many people try to be more friendly and to less rage, by simply muting annoying "Kids". It feels so frustrating, if you were able, to forget about them kids, after you did mute them ingame and then getting a wall of Flame when entering the End-Game-Lobby, without even having a chance to leave before reading at least a few things. This, brings people to go feel frustrated and enraged again. Often that causes people to rage in the next game themselves, i think.

After game Lobby is HORRIBLE, cause so many of them kids, flame even more when the game's out.

They need to bring it back I have that I have to remute the piece of shit trolls who held 2-3 other people hostage with no votes after game then counter report because they know they are getting reported for intentionally griefing/feeding. When 17 or your last 20 games are filled with nothing but trolls and intentional feeders.

Those are the worst. Specially in blinds picks and/or team builder. This past weekend was full of trolls and feeders who were incessantly toxic.

I had one adc who fed because I played a support they didn't like. When it came time to surrender the person who played ADC was also qeued with the top and mid laner so they kept the jungler and I in game for another 20 minutes. We were at 11 & 45...

That encounter turned me off League for the last couple of days. I've been playing Diablo 3 and not thinking about how the community angers me during that time frame.
