What would YOU have done?

I feel terrible. I was carrying a game as Wukong. By carrying I mean tanking and strategically warding and ulting at just the right time to get my carry fed. But then it happened.

I never start a game without knowing I can finish it but this time I screwed up. I completely forgot I was suppose to give music lessons to a young kid. He came and knocked on the door with his dad, I ran to get the door and they walked in for lessons.

What would YOU do? I went AFK for the first time ever and I felt terrible about it. I know I screwed my 4 teammates; it was a close game but I feel we could have won.

You had no choice but to leave really. It was your fault. It sucks. If those were the only circumstances that people left under though, there wouldn't be the AFK problems there are. I mean, it's your first leave in over a year, right? I don't think anyone finds you the type of player that's hurting things, it's just 1 unfortunate circumstance.

Well it's your fault for forgetting but you had no choice but to AFK, there is no doubt about it. So while AFKing was the right choice, forgetting was your own fault. I may or may not have reported you depending on my mood, when i lose a Ranked game that could have been won because of AFK or someone Feeding then i tend to get upset and Report. If there was no winning regardless for whatever reason i probably would not have reported, unless im like 30/1 with 3 pentas and 5 quadras or something lol.

No offense, but it sounds like you were 20 mins into the game. People can wait 10 minutes. You should have told the kid and his dad to wait 10 mins, and gave them a soda and a coffee while they waited. Plus let them watch tv. Not too hard. If the game wasn't over in 10 mins, then u shoulda left.
