1HOUR TO GET INTO GAME

I was in a 40+ min game and my sister called and needed a ride so I had to leave. I come back and get the penalty of the lower priority que. I'm pissed bc that game I just played was the first game I had played since I had gotten rid of my last set of 5 lower priority games. Now you must dedicate even more time into each game, and I'm penalized more than an hour (20 min x5), when there was probably 5-10 min left in the game i was playing. So I que up for a draft game, wait my 20 min, then enter the game and I'm support after I didn't choose that role, I selected top or mid, at this point I'm upset because I waited 20+ min to get a role I can't play well, while I'm choosing a champ the clock is getting closer and closer to 0, on 1 second I choose Teemo. Apparently that wasn't fast enough and I get kicked out the game, got a 5 min penalty for abandoning the game, and now have to wait another 20 minutes to probably get a support role. I Shouldn't have to wait 45+ minutes to get into a game. I feel that the penalty for leaving a game is much too strict and penalties should maybe be in accordance to how late within the game you left. Yes I'm partially guilty, I'll admit but man I feel this is too much. Can anyone relate?

I can't relate but that's mainly because I don't leave my games. It seems like you have a bad habit of leaving your games hence why you get hit hard. So maybe stop leaving your games. Just because you finish your set doesn't mean you can leave without being punished. If anything that's worse because you are showing the system you haven't learned that leavin games is wrong.

Just stop leaving games. You have PLENTY of time to pick a champion you want to play. You get 30 seconds when you join the lobby, the whole Banning phase, and then you have until it's your turn to pick which gives another 30 seconds. In about the 3 mins that takes, you could've definitely decided who you want to play. And it sucks you had a real life issue come up, but I doubt you had that for every game that gave you the initial penalty. Leaving game makes the game very frustrating and unfun for the other people playing. You're saying you don't like wasting 40 mins, but 10 mins each for the 4 other people adds up to 40 mins of their time they probably didn't enjoy.
