Ranked Teams Rewards Question - Red Reply Pls

I have a question regarding the ward skin that can be unlocked by winning games as part of a ranked team. The FAQ clearly states that the ward skin to be received is upgraded as you gain points from wins and that you only receive ONE skin at the end of the season.

My question is: would it be possible to send a support ticket and be awarded a lower-tier ward skin, even though you earned enough points to receive the higher-tier ones, if you happen to prefer the first, most basic one (as I do)?

I have fun playing with my team and we want to get silver before the end of season, but at the moment I only have a range of about 16 wins or so to achieve it in before the ward skin that I want gets 'overridden' by a higher-tier one. I would appreciate a red response on this or any concrete information. Thanks in advance!
