Manners: Where did they go? (Feel free to share toxicity-based horror stories.)

Every other ranked game I get some piece of shit excuse for a fucking human being putting me on blast for not thinking like them.

I've -tried- going with the group and going into bad engage after bad engage. I was losing KDA and matches. Constantly. Dropped a few tiers.

As of about a year ago, I've decided to stop putting up with the bullshit and fighting fire with fire. As that might actually imply, it doesn't always work.

When someone decides to do something reportable, usually dealing with Negative Attitude and Verbal Abuse, I like to play a little game called "Apologize or I will forcefully throw this match." I will usually go on to explain that this is very simple, type 5 keys. You don't even have to mean it." I actually don't care about sincerity. Who would when you've mastered the art of lying (Including to yourself).

And it goes down the same way, a lot of the time.

"Wow kid." "U must be 12." Nevermind being called %%%got near constantly, which is pretty much supposed to be as ban-worthy as dropping a few n-bombs all over the rift.

I'll live, of course, because at the end of the day, I still have my principles and standards I upheld. I don't work with rude people, it's just not in me. I suppose this is mostly for venting.

But while I've got the ball rolling, maybe look back on someone who was in one of your matches and dialed the salt to 11 (out of a possible 5) and tell us here!
